Technical Consultant – Junior, Full time

Responsibilities
The position is a junior technical consultant consisting of:
- Installation and Migration of the Omnivision product line at customer sites: capacity and performance management products.
- Configuration and tuning of Omnivision deployments, including Omnivision customer-specific reports.
- Technical support through customer coaching
- Technical training to end-users and / or partners
- Regular follow-ups with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
The candidate will be required to rapidly become proficient with OmniVision. He/she will receive formal product training from Systar and technical assistance as-needed.
Work Environment
The candidate will be part of the EMEA Client Services organization and report to the EMEA Technical Director. He/she will be based in Saint-Cloud, France, and support Systar customers and partners based mainly in France and nearby European countries (BeNeLux, UK, Spain, Italy, Germany), but also in other countries depending on need.
As part of his job, the candidate will have to interact closely with the following Systar teams:
- Services and PreSales team members
- Sales organization
- Systar’s Technical Support (based in France)
Must Have Skills
- Good knowledge of heterogeneous server systems: Windows, AIX LPAR, VMware, Solaris.
- Good knowledge of relational databases (Oracle in particular) from a data query perspective.
- Superior customer interaction skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Great capacity to understand the new technologies and to work in a result oriented approach.
- Extremely proficient in English.
